Saint-Joseph Le Grande Pompee, Jaboulet BagaDeep ruby red in colour, with violet hues. On the nose, the wine is concentrated, with perfumes of ripe, red fruit and a hint of liquorice. Rounded tannins support ripe, red fruit characters on the palate. Syrah grapes for this wine are grown in a 5 hectare vineyard at Limony, planted on a light, schistous and gneiss soil on a granite base. Yields are 35 hl ha and the vines are 20 50 years old. A further 6 hectares are being planted in the communes of

producing low crops

with a lovely throat grip
