An older man with a thick grey goatee sits in front of some tall dry bushes. His hands are clasped together in his lap on top of his dark bisht (robe) which he wears over a light coloured thobe (long shirt). He also wears a plain ghutra (headscarf) tied over his head, on which many flies sit. This image was taken between December 20, 1948, and January 27, 1949,
