Large 19th Century Fruitwood Gingerbread Mould With Eight Floral Motifs. Art NouveauA wonderful large 19th century fruitwood gingerbread mould with eight floral motifs. The carvings are crisp and remain in an excellent condition. The fruitwood has a wonderful age and patina to it. A very tactile and attractive piece. The wire arms show have warped slightly due to their fineness

The work is signed to the lower right and housed within a gilt frame with a plaque reading 'Rosenstock' to the base

The tortoiseshell shows some scuffing throughout and some wear to the gilt at the rim and interior hinge

The mirror has its original glass which is showing some small areas of foxing (please see photographs)
