Both volumes remain in a very good condition internally

the silhouette does have darker black paint evident to the extremities of the head and hair (please see photographs)

There is some slight rippling to the 'red' fungi print and some light scuffs to the frames in areas but generally both display well

ornate gilt stamping to the board edges and five raised bands to the spine

with clear hallmarks to the inner rim
