Alipús San Andres Mezcal 70cl GarnachaLos Danzantes was founded in 1997 by two restaurateurs from Mexico City. They purchased a small distillery in Santiago Matatln in Oaxaca. The distillery was then refurnished and adapted to modern requirements without forsaking traditional methods of production. The fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (11°C-13°C) in order to retain all the freshness and fruit flavours and aromas in the wine

because the heat and dry conditions did reduce them significantly

Fresh citrus and nettle aromas fill the nose

Brooding and intense

Usually the proportion of each grape variety is around 55% Pinot Noir

Fermentation is long and moderately cool to retain fresh fruit characters
