I made a couple of material substitutions and additions to add a bit more buoyancy and durability to the fly. When the fly suspended nymphs well and even convinced trout to rise in the middle of January, I knew I had a winner on my hands. It is now one of my favorite flies in the box for dry dropper rigs.
