HAMIRO Lion Hand Puppet ~ 1960s apronHere's a charming Hamiro Lion Hand Puppet made in Czechoslovakia circa 1960s. It has a very sweet expression with button eyes and stitched nose and mouth. Its body is made of floppy art silk plush. The head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This puppet has been gently used or not used at all. The coloring is still very nice and Hamiro's paper tag is still present. This adorable toy can't wait to join

The structure is solid and displays well but it shows age and wear

Seems unused with maker's tag still attached

She is a character from an old Punch & Judy Show

otherwise he would wear a tag #323 with his name on the back

Its horns are chipped and the costume has some light age stains

Note that this  piece is screwed to a wooden base so it might not have been finished
