Vanley Burke: By The Rivers Of Birminam Artist MadeBirmingham based artist Vanley Burke is one of the countrys most prolific Black photographers, who exhibited his first retrospective By the Rivers of Birminam at the Midlands Arts Centre in 2012. The catalogue displays 100 pictures dating from 1968 2011, showing the evolvement of Handsworth through a personal and intimate journey through the artist himself. His work is heavily centred around the British Caribbean community in Birmingham.
