The Hills and Freshwater, I have covered the back landscape in spinifex to remind us that there are challenges in life. Spinifex is a type of grass covered in wax. It rolls its leaves to hold in moisture which creates a sharp point. My family harvest the wax and the long stalks for tool making and ceremonial objects.
